FAQ

Common questions about ordering, payment, and shipping. Don't see your question here? Contact support.

+Why is my payment amount an odd number, like $89.47 instead of $89.00?

Every order gets a small amount — between $0.01 and $0.99 — added to its subtotal. That extra amount is unique to your order, which is what lets our system automatically match your on-chain payment to the right order the moment it lands, with no manual review and no delay.

Always aim to pay the exact amount shown on the checkout page, down to the cent. We do automatically tolerate a small difference (typically a few cents), since some exchanges and wallets convert your payment using their own USDC/USD rate rather than sending exactly what you asked for — so a payment that's slightly off usually still confirms on its own.

If you send noticeably less than the amount due, we'll let you know the remaining balance right on your order's payment page — send the rest to the same address and it's applied automatically, no need to start over. And if a payment doesn't seem to be picked up, every order's payment page has an optional field to paste in your transaction ID directly — we'll verify it against the blockchain and apply it to your order. Or contact support and we'll verify it manually.

+Who can buy from FRG?

Research institutions, companies, and independent qualified researchers who are at least 21 years old. We don't sell to individual consumers buying for personal use. When you register you confirm all of that, and that you won't use anything you buy for human or veterinary consumption, administration, or application.

Those statements are yours — we rely on them rather than checking them independently — and giving false information breaches our Terms of Sale. We can decline, suspend, or close an account, or cancel an order, at any time.

+What does “research use only” actually mean?

Everything in our catalog is a research-grade biochemical compound or reference material supplied for in vitro laboratory research and analytical work. Our products are not drugs, dietary supplements, foods, cosmetics, or medical devices. They are not approved by the FDA or any other regulatory body for human or veterinary use, and they are not for human or veterinary consumption, administration, or application.

FRG is not a pharmacy and is not a registered outsourcing facility or compounding pharmacy under Sections 503A or 503B of the FD&C Act. Nothing on this site has been evaluated by the FDA, and no product is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease or condition in humans or animals. We don't provide dosing, administration, or clinical guidance of any kind, and we can't make an exception to that on request.

You're also responsible for making sure your purchase, possession, and use of a given compound complies with the laws that apply where you are.

+How does the 10-vial kit discount work?

Order 10 or more vials of the same product and strength in one line, and every complete set of 10 gets 15% off automatically — any vials beyond a full set of 10 stay at the regular price. For example, 23 vials of one strength works out to 2 full kits (20 vials at 15% off) plus 3 at full price. No code needed; the discount applies at checkout.

+Do you charge for shipping?

No — shipping is included in the listed price of every item. There's no separate shipping charge added at checkout, regardless of order size.

+Where do you ship, and how fast?

United States addresses only — we don't ship internationally at this time. Orders ship Monday through Friday, typically within 2–3 business days of payment confirmation and often faster, via USPS or UPS (chosen automatically based on your order). Shipments aren't temperature-controlled. If your order ships later than that window, we'll apply a 10% refund automatically.

+Should I add shipping insurance?

It's optional and shown at checkout (2% of your order subtotal, $2 minimum). The carrier is responsible for packages lost or damaged in transit, but insurance is what lets us actually file a claim on your behalf — without it, we can't recover a lost or damaged shipment's value.

+How do I pay?

Directly in USDC (or another supported stablecoin, if offered) on the Solana network, sent to our wallet — no card, bank, or intermediary holds your order or your funds.

+How long does account approval take?

It's immediate. Once you complete the short registration and research-use attestation step, your account is approved right away and checkout unlocks automatically — no waiting on manual review.

+Can I change or cancel my order after I place it?

Before payment, yes — you can edit the items, quantities, or shipping address, or cancel it outright from your order page. After payment, cancellation isn't guaranteed and isn't possible once your order has shipped, but you can request one from your order page and we'll review it. If we ever have to cancel your order on our end (for example, an item turns out to be out of stock or damaged), we'll restock/refund as needed and apply a 10% discount to your next order automatically.

+What's your return/refund policy?

Because of the sterility requirements of our products, we don't accept returns. We will issue a refund or reshipment if independent lab testing shows a product's purity falls short of what was advertised, or if a vial is underfilled below 90% of its stated amount (refunded proportionally to the shortfall).

We accept lab results from Freedom, BT, Vanguard, ILS, Kovera, or Janoshik for this — other labs are considered case by case, and we don't accept Finnrick results. See our Terms of Sale for the full policy.

+Are your compounds tested for purity?

Where published, purity, CAS numbers, and a linked external reference (PubChem or equivalent) are shown on each catalog entry.

+How do I get a Certificate of Analysis (CoA) for my order?

Certificates of Analysis are matched to the batch number printed on your vial label. Once you have it, look it up from your account on our CoA lookup page to view or download the certificate.

+How should I store compounds after I receive them?

Refrigerate sealed, lyophilized (freeze-dried) vials at 2–8°C (35–46°F), protected from light, upon receipt. For extended storage, keep them frozen. Lyophilized compounds are shelf-stable and don't require cold-chain shipping, but should go in the fridge or freezer promptly after arrival.

+How do I reconstitute a lyophilized compound for research use?

Standard laboratory practice is to reconstitute with bacteriostatic or sterile water, injected slowly down the inside wall of the vial rather than directly onto the powder, then gently swirled — not shaken — until fully dissolved. The amount of water used relative to the vial's labeled quantity sets the concentration of the resulting stock solution (e.g. 5mg reconstituted in 5mL yields a 1mg/mL solution). Once reconstituted, keep the solution refrigerated and use it within your study's own validated stability window.

This is general laboratory reconstitution technique for research sample preparation only — we don't provide guidance on dosing, administration, or any human or animal use.
